Employability reflects individual traits of maturity, communication, analytical / verbal / numeric / IT skills, self-confidence, empathy, commercial sensitivity, social intelligence, think on the feet and entrepreneurship. UnEmployability  is a serious concern with graduates leaving universities but with low emotional and intelligence traits to confront emerging reality. Employers pay premium for employable candidates not candidates with high academic credentials! Employable candidates need to know your enemy within – it pays. Unemployability reflects eroding  standards for award of degrees, poor fitment between curriculum and  needs, inappropriate teaching / learning / assessment practices and inflated credentials.
